Stepping into the role of a faculty member is exciting and challenging, especially if you are new to education. Active learning, learner-centeredness, and learning objectives — it’s a lot to take in. This workshop is designed for faculty who are new to education and are looking for guidance in becoming acclimated to the role of educator. In this three-day workshop, you will learn the basic techniques and tools required for effective teaching and learning from experienced educators who have the expertise and passion to help new faculty become excellent educators.
