Program Directors 101

Becoming a program director is an exciting step that comes with important responsibilities. As a leader, it is vital to acquire a diverse set of skills and knowledge to guide your program, students, and faculty in excellence. This three-day workshop focuses on the enhancement of participants’ knowledge and skills in the areas of leadership, innovation, and excellence in PA education. Through a variety of dynamic sessions, participants will be provided venues for learning, skills development, networking, and mentoring.

The workshop is designed for program directors and associate directors with fewer than two years of experience in their positions.

October 6-8, 2025

Monday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday: 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

This activity has been reviewed by the American Academy of Physician Associates Review Panel and is compliant with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 17 AAPA Category 1 CME credits.
